DAS Labs
We are a highly skilled team of augmented reality and artificial intelligence developers. Our 10+ years of experience extend to computer vision, machine learning, and augmented / mixed reality (AR/MR).
Years before PokemonGo shook the world with a novel AR-focused “life scale” game, our augmented reality development company was already creating low - lighting AR experiences for theme parks, dark rides, escape rooms & haunted attractions.
Since then, DAS Labs has branched out into a variety of different industries. Our passion for creating innovative solutions has led to major developments in gaming, orthopedic surgery, aerospace, indoor navigation, military simulation, firefighter/astronaut training, and even augmented reality golf. More recently in 2020, we won the U.S Army “XTechSearch 4.0 Phase 1”, pitching to pentagon officials and DOD scientists to improve soldier training regimens using AR glasses & Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) technology.
DAS Labs firmly believes in making the impossible, possible. We believe in combining technical know-how with the vision of our clients to bring ideas to life in a cutting-edge industry. The future of augmented reality software is ripe with opportunity, and our team excels in implementing creative solutions that circumvent roadblocks stopping many of our competitors in their tracks.

AR Travel and Tourism App
The beautiful town of Ouray is affectionately known as the “Switzerland of America,” as well as the “Outdoor Recreation Capital of America.” Needless to say, there’s no shortage of adventure to be had for tourists visiting the area! When the town approached us to develop an AR/AI app for their visitors, our job was to make sure adventurers found their activities as quickly and easily as possible. Using our proprietary visual global positioning system, we developed an AR/AI app that locates the user quickly based on their surroundings. As the user scans their field of vision, the app then highlights activity suggestions, nearby trails, local shops, and restaurants by overlaying digital information on top of real-world landmarks. Comprehensive AR Monitoring System
Aurum Technologies approached us in search of a comprehensive AR monitoring system with the following capabilities:
- Remote streaming & support
- Hands-free usability
- Smartwatch biometric integration
- Site-wide equipment monitoring
- Access to policies & documents
DAS Labs utilized a combination of our proprietary tracking technology and custom-developed software to increase safety within delicate lab environments. Our solution included the following features:
- Live streaming of technician’s view to remote and local team members for safety and technical support
- AR visualization of policy forms & checklists
- Tracking of human technicians via DAS Labs’ proprietary AI Mesh mobile AI camera
- Custom optical character recognition (OCR) of equipment readings for site-wide monitoring
The final solution utilizes DAS Labs’ proprietary Visual Positioning System (VPS) to determine the user’s location anywhere within the facility. If they approach a zone for which they are not authorized to enter, the system alerts the user and other stakeholders.
Augmented Reality Surgical Assistance (Client Confidential)
A confidential, fast-growing surgical technology client sought out DAS Labs to develop a solution that would ultimately increase procedure efficiency and improve patient outcomes. The solution would support intraoperative procedures across multiple continents, streaming both the user’s view and external scope video in addition to complex surgical procedural steps. Surgical team members would need to wear highly reliable headsets to keep their hands available to perform the procedure.
We developed a highly precise headset application that includes the following capabilities:
- The user’s view streams to remote teams in real time.
- AI-assisted procedural authoring teams with AR visualization of operating room setup to improve efficiency.
- Multi-server stage QC and release structure never pushes untested updates to surgical teams that are in procedure.
- Mobile app scans operating rooms to visualize optimal procedural setup instructions.
Our solution has been used in hundreds of procedures across dozens of operating rooms, and has proven to increase the efficiency of an operating room setup by 50% and increase the accuracy of surgical tool setup by 39%.
“DAS has helped us execute a unique, never-before-seen AR/MR software solution that is revolutionizing the operating room.”

Testimonials
“I interviewed over two dozen Sr. iOS app developers and went through 60+ offers, and as you can see, I chose Michael and Dynamic AR Solutions. Michael and the DAS team were very flexible and patient with my specific requests. They are known for being experienced with AR and LiDAR, and I can attest to that, however, when I approached them with a project that required accessibility functionality and features they’ve never worked on, they did not hesitate to acquire the news skills and know-how to make my ideas into a flawless proof of concept. We actually had to start from scratch a third of the way into our project due to a misunderstanding on my side, (the client, and not the freelancer,) and even though it was my fault, Michael did not hesitate one second to direct his team into the new direction. The cost of my contract was a third of my proposed budget, and while Michael could have just said “it will cost you your entire budget to make this app,” he told me I wouldn’t have to pay that much to achieve my end-product, (aka a POC in the form of an iOS app that uses LiDAR.) 100% satisfaction does not come easy when you are working with me, but I guess it wasn’t hard this time working with Michael and his team. If you want an honest, upfront, no BS iOS web development team proficient in AR and LiDAR (and whatever else they’re good at,) Michael is your guy, and DAS is the team to do it right the first time! TL:DR: – Michael and the DAS team deserve nothing less than a 100% satisfaction rating given the quality of work and customer service they provided me.”
– Aziz Zeidieh, RannMax
“Michael was extremely patient, communicative and diligent throughout the project. I was very happy with his work and would recommend him to anyone!”
– Neil Matthews, CEO, Placenote
“Michael and his team are amazing. We gave them an impossible deadline and they met it with flying colors and a product my CEO is so happy about he danced a little when he saw it. They are willing to help with tech support, development, and always makes sure the project is *exactly* what was needed before we close things out. I can’t recommend DAS enough.”
– Anita Greenberg, COO, Opifex Global
“DAS knocked it out of the park. In addition to the great communication and solid engineering talent, they have an intuitive understanding of how to build natural user-friendly MR applications.”
– Jacob Irvin, Program Manager, Occipital
“An incredible example of excellence in contracting. Michael and his team are unstoppable, persistent, talented, and timely… our project could not have come out better. Do yourself a favor and give them a try.”
– Scott Mocha, CoFounder, The Realizers
