Construction Site Safety VR

An interactive construction environment complete with over thirty on-site hazards. Each trainee inspects the site identifying hazards and demonstrating safety knowledge about the associated risks and remediation practices. Based on OSHA standards. A training enhancement for the OSHA 10 & 30-Hour Construction Safety courses. Also relevant for construction safety awareness courses.

Training Breakdown:

  • Jobsite hazard inspection: Navigate the active jobsite to locate thirty-two (32) hazards, defects, and unsafe behaviors as defined by the OSHA 1926 standard.
  • Knowledge assessments: Multiple choice questions connected to specific hazards or unsafe behaviors requiring the user to demonstrate their working knowledge of safety principles and practices.

Fall Prevention VR

An aptitude test for working at heights. Inspect your fall protection system and make sure to tie off before walking out onto a steel beam 30 stories above the city street. Don’t fall! An instructional enhancement for the OSHA 10 & 30-hour Construction Safety course as well as fall safety certificate and awareness courses, including 8-Hour Fall Prevention, 4-Hour Fall Prevention Refresher, and OSHA 3110 Fall Arrest Systems.

Training Breakdown:

  • PFAS inspection: Conduct an inspection on your personal fall arrest system harness to identify any defects or unsafe conditions.
  • Tie off with your PFAS: Demonstrate your working knowledge of tie-off procedures by clipping your PFAS to the correct anchor point.
  • Working at heights: Demonstrate your ability to work safely at height by walking out on the steel beam to complete a task and returning without falling.
  • Performance report: View the performance report to see user’s success with individual tasks and their overall training score.

  1. The importance of inspecting and being able to identify common defects found on a Personal Fall Arrest System harness.
  2. Industry best practices for tie-off protocols while working at heights.
  3. The potentially fatal dangers associated with working at heights.
General Industry Safety VR

Navigate a large interactive high bay warehouse environment populated with two dozen randomized hazards for trainees to identify and remediate. A training enhancement for the OSHA 1910 General Industry standard, compatible with OSHA 10 & 30-Hour General Industry Safety courses as well as all general industry awareness level trainings.

Training Breakdown:

  • Jobsite hazard inspection: Move yourself to the active warehouse to locate twelve (12) out of twenty-four (24) hazards, defects, and unsafe behaviors as defined by the OSHA 1910 standard.
  • Knowledge assessments: Multiple choice questions connected to specific hazards or unsafe behaviors requiring the user to demonstrate their working knowledge of General Industry safety principles and practices.
  • Performance report: View the performance report to see user’s score, those hazards found/unfound, and the correct answers to quiz questions.

Ladder Safety VR

An interactive lesson curriculum set in a simulated residential roofing repair environment in a suburban neighborhood. Train users on how to conduct a worksite assessment and ladder inspection before deploying and climbing a portable extension ladder. Based on best practices and OSHA standards, this module will empower learning core ladder safety principles by performing occupational tasks and making decisions in a safe, fun, simulated environment.

Safe Patient Handling VR (Beta)

Built from the ground up to address the safe patient handling education needs of healthcare providers, Safe Patient Handling VR provides a safe, familiar virtual environment in which trainees can practice four common patient-handling procedures without risk to staff or patients. The performance of each trainee is scored, providing valuable, actionable data.

This training enhancement is targeted at both clinical providers and clinical support team members who have already completed initial safe patient handling training and require re-familiarization with practices and procedures.

Training Breakdown:

  • Supine to sit: Evaluate the patient’s pain level and mobility, then assist them in moving from a supine position to a sitting position using the appropriate slip-resistant equipment.
  • Sit to Ambulation (with Rolling Walker): Evaluate the patient’s pain level and mobility, then help the patient move from the bed to a chair using a rolling walker.
  • Bed to Chair Transfer (Total Assist Lift): Evaluate the patient’s pain level and mobility, then in collaboration with a virtual nursing assistant, support the patient in transferring from the bed to a chair using a total assist lift device.
  • Lateral Transfer: Evaluate the patient’s pain level and mobility, then in collaboration with a virtual nursing assistant, perform a lateral transfer from a bed to a stretcher using an air-assist device.
  • Performance Report: Review the performance report to see the user’s score and the tasks they successfully or unsuccessfully completed.
